Returns and Refunds

If you are not satisfied for any reason with an item purchased from Know Your World (KYW), you can return it in the manner requested in this policy within 30 days of receiving it (unless otherwise specified) with proof of purchase if the item meets these conditions:

  1. The item is returned with its original receipt or proof of its purchase from KYW;
  2. It is unused, packed in the original unmarked packaging, and in the same condition that you received it;
  3. The item has not been altered or customized by you or for you (i.e., engraving).
  4. The item includes all accessories, manuals, and documentation that shipped in the original package.
  5. The item is not part of a bundle with other goods or services, nor is it distributed by a third-party through KYW as part of a bundle or compilation.
  6. The item is not one of our digital products. See the Digital Products section of this policy for more information.
  7. The item is not fee-based Professional Services.

For any item meeting these conditions we will either exchange it, or provide you with a refund according to your original method of payment for the item, excluding any shipping charges. By law, European customers will have the original shipping costs invoiced by KYW included in any exchange or refund amounts.

Defective Items

If you are returning item(s) due to a perceived product defect, they are subject to the same terms identified in the Returns and Refunds section of this policy.

Digital Products

eGuides and other digital products (i.e., delivered to you by download) that are purchased through the KYW Store are not eligible for refund or exchange.

How To Request a Refund

Contact Customer Support either via the Contact Page or email us at to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number for the item(s) to be returned.

If the item being returned is a physical product that was shipped to you by KYW, Customer Support will also be providing you with the proper shipping address for the return, when you receive your RMA Number.

Please be advised that any refund will not be processed until we receive your returned item and have an opportunity to inspect it to verify return eligibility. For this reason, the time required to process your refund will be impacted by the shipping method that you select for returning the item. Your refund will be processed within two weeks of our receipt of the item.

Shipping Returned Items

The shipping cost of returning items is your responsibility and is non-refundable. We recommend, however, that the carrier that you use for shipping:

  1. Offers shipment tracking for your return; and
  2. Offers insurance to guarantee the safe return of the item(s), and insure the shipment for the full value of the item(s) to ensure that you are protected in the event that the carrier loses or damages the item(s) in transit.

If you choose not to follow either of these recommendations, you will be responsible for any loss or damage during shipping.


KYW reserves the right to change the terms of this Return and Refund Policy at any time, with or without notice.
